Diandé Africa educates and empowers the local community by offering a more prosperous future for the inhabitants of Ziguinchor. The association pays the tuition of thirty students at risk of social exclusion and offers pedagogical monitoring and academic support. It also runs a food cooperative that employs six mothers. The premises of Diandé Africa is an open civic center in the neighborhood used for cultural, educational and social activities.
