Calares is a project created by engineers with the aim of raising awareness about renewable energy. It offers advice, manufacture, and installation of solar collectors for hot water supply and panels to produce electricity, which help reduce the negative impact on the planet. For every ten sales, the company conducts a training workshop in a soup kitchen to teach the organizers how to build their own heaters. With the energy and gas saved, soup kitchens can feed 15% more people, so the project not only has a positive environmental impact but also a social one.
